Area residents are invited to Jennings Environmental Education Center in Slippery Rock this afternoon to learn more about the area’s bird population.
During today’s event, which begins at 2pm, attendees will learn the importance of “citizen science” to regional and global research, and about bird movements, changes in their population, and population trends.
Bird related projects that you can do at home will also be shown. Today’s program is designed for those aged 13 and over.
