The state House on Tuesday voted to advance a bill limiting abortions to the first 20 weeks of pregnancy.
The legislation would alter the existing 24-week limit but keep current exceptions in place including when a mother’s life is at risk. It does not allow exceptions for rape, incest or fetal abnormalities.
Gov. Tom Wolf has vowed to veto it.
