It will now be at least two years until it’s required for students to pass the Keystone exams in order to graduate.
A Senate bill was unanimously approved Wednesday that will delay until 2019 the use of Keystone exams in algebra 1, biology and literature as graduation requirements.
The bill will now head to Governor Tom Wolf, who is expected to sign it.
