A bike ride to benefit the fight against multiple sclerosis begins this weekend in Butler County.
Bike MS Escape to the Lake kicks off Saturday at 7 a.m. on the South Shore of Moraine State Park.
Participants will spend overnight at Allegheny College in Meadville before finishing at Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio. This is not a race but a scenic, challenging ride with 65, 75, or 100 mile options.
Over 1,000 cyclists are expected to participate in an effort to raise over $1 million to benefit the Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter of the National MS Society. Visit bikems.org for more information.
