Discount retailer Big Lots is the latest store to claim bankruptcy.
The Ohio-based company announced that it would also be closing some stores to coincide with the move.
At the moment, the only Big Lots to close in the Pittsburgh area is the location in Coraopolis. 300 of the 1,200 stores have either closed, or will shut down soon.
It’s not clear the future of the Butler location.
Big Lots is set to be acquired by another company, which officials say will provide financial stability.
