Butler Health System is receiving federal dollars to go toward their nutritional initiative.
According to Senator Bob Casey, the Butler Health System will get $268,000 for their Food Institute. The money will go toward the expansion of that program, which aims to better serve patients in nutritional education and disease management.
The funding for this project is a part of the fiscal year spending bill approved by the Senate last week.
