Where is the best place to ring in the New Year? It might not be what you think.
Though Times Square in New York City is probably the most widely recognized place to watch the ball drop, website WalletHub says it’s certainly not the best place…especially if you’re a frugal partier. Many big cities- like New York- hike up their hotel and event prices because they know people are coming to celebrate regardless.
According to WalletHub, Orlando, Florida is the best place to celebrate New Year’s Eve. It ranked high in the areas of cost, entertainment & food, and safety.
In the top 10 were cities including Atlanta, Denver, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh…which came in at number nine.
