Reports out of St. Vincent indicate that running backs Le’Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams looked explosive in the first day of Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp.
Bell says he’s in the best shape of his life. Unfortunately, Bell is out for the first three weeks of the season because of his marijuana arrest last fall. Williams is currently taking reps with the second team, but, unless an appeal with the league office changes Bell suspension, he’ll get the start for the first three games of the season.
The Steelers are celebrating their 50th season at St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe, PA for training camp. They open up their pre-season schedule Sunday night August 9th in Canton, Ohio for the Hall of Fame Game against the Minnesota Vikings.
