A bear was seen swimming in the Allegheny River near Kittanning over the weekend.
A family was out on their boat in Armstrong County when they spotted the animal. They say the bear had no interest in the boaters and was just trying to get to the other side.
A bear was spotted wandering in Butler City last week near Butler Memorial.
