The Butler County Young Professionals have announced the results of their Halloween costume collection drive last week.
Ghouls for Good collected more than 250 costumes and raised an additional $500 to benefit kids in the care of Butler County Children and Youth Services.
Ten businesses served as donation centers and the project was able to double the goal of collecting 100 costumes.
A Paint Night Fundraiser at Brushes and Barstools last Friday contributed more than $300 to the cause as well as Halloween-themed collection boxes. Costumes will be distributed to kids in need by caseworkers before Halloween.
