The Butler County American Legion Baseball playoffs begin tonight. Saxonburg will host Meridian at 6pm. Valley will host Center Township at 6pm. Kiski will host Cranberry at 6pm and East Butler will host Mars at 8pm.
The Legion organization awarded four $1,000 scholarships to Butler County players last Friday at their annual All-Star game. Receiving scholarships were Justin Rickert and Nick Malis of Meridian, Garrett Traggai of Saxonburg and Brandon Lynd of Cranberry.
