A specialized emergency response team will give instruction on the campus of Butler County Community College next week.
The Pennsylvania Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team will conduct training exercises Wednesday (7/13) from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Training Facility.
The exercise will simulate a hurricane impacting a large urban area. When local resources are overwhelmed PA-HART will fly water rescuers and equipment where needed.
Organizations including the Butler County Medical Team 200 and Water Rescue Team 300, Butler County EMA, and the South Butler Volunteer Fire Department will be participating in this training.
