A training course on how to deal with and respond to active shooters will be held at BC3 in March.
The ALICE Training Institute will be holding this two-day training course at BC3 and intends to teach law enforcement as well as school, church, hospital, and workplace administrators/employees skills and strategies that will assist between the time a violent event begins and law enforcement arrives.
The course will be taught on March 10 and 11, 2016 from 8AM-4PM in the Public Safety Building, 107 College Drive in room 202.
Along with understanding why ALICE is effective, participants will learn the difference between the liabilities of proactive vs. passive response strategies. There will be live scenario drills.
Materials will be provided on how to become an effective ALICE Instructor within an organization.
The cost is $595 per person and anyone interested can register online.
