A new state grant will help aid a local program’s effort to battle the opioid crisis.
Butler County Community College’s “Hope Is Dope” opioid addiction program will receive $180,000 in funding thanks to a state grant that was awarded to the Center for Community Resources.
BC3 officials said the funding will help continue the program designed for those suffering from opioid use disorder.
The Hope Is Dope program began back in April 2018 and emphasizes using, “natural, endorphin-resurrecting ideas to confront opioid addiction.”
