A large financial gift from Grove City College to Butler County Community College will be used to help build a new nursing facility.
BC3 announced that it received $500,000 from Grove City College which is the fifth largest in the 54-year history of the community college.
The gift will help fund the state-of-the-art Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health Building where Grove City students will be able to attend technical and clinical courses as part of the new bachelor’s degree in nursing program at Grove City.
Both BC3 President Dr. Nick Neupauer and Grove City President Paul McNulty praised the partnership between the institutions resulting in this contribution. Construction on the new facility is expected to begin in May of 2021 with an opening planned for fall of 2022.
