Butler County Community College will host an open house this week for those interested in a career as an EMS technician.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday (DEC. 18) on BC3’s Main Campus in Butler Township.
BC3’s emergency medical technician and emergency medical responder certification programs begin in January. Those interested in the programs are encouraged to attend the open house to tour classrooms, view equipment and meet instructors.
BC3’s Emergency Medical Services program is accredited by the state Department of Health’s Bureau of EMS.
A 184-hour EMT program will run from Jan. 7 through mid-May.
