The Butler Area School District will extend its school year by one day to make up for a snow day last week.
Last Wednesday, all public schools in the county were forced to cancel school because of a snow storm. Now, Butler administrators say their plan is to make up the day at the end of the year.
This means Thursday, June 6 will now be the last day for students.
So far, Butler students have to make up four snow days.
