The Butler Area School District is making a hire to an administrative position that oversees student transportation.
During a school board meeting earlier this week, members approved the hiring of Tabitha Scutt to the position of Supervisor of Transportation.
Scutt currently works as a manager at transportation provider Valley Lines in charge of operations for the Seneca Valley School District. Scutt will transition to her new position at Butler sometime in early April.
Former Supervisor of Transportation Brenda Collins has been filling the position in an interim capacity for the last three months.
