The Butler Area School District is making some changes in their business administration department.
Heather Bonzo has been hired to the new position of Assistant Business Manager at a yearly salary of nearly $64,000. Christina Craig has been hired to the new position of Accountant at a yearly salary of $59,000. The position of Supervisor of Accounting has been eliminated.
Superintendent Dr. Brian White said this restructuring is taking place to save money while at the same time allowing the department to operate more efficiently.
Nick Morelli remains in the position of Acting Director of Business Services with no change in the responsibilities that he has had since he was hired a year ago.
