The Butler Area School District has hired two new elementary school principals.
Hope Hull will be the principal of Connoquenessing Elementary School and Lesley Fidler will be the principal of Summit Elementary School. These are both 10-month positions.
Before coming to Butler, Hull was a second and third grade teacher at the South Butler School District. She received her principal certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Fidler also previously worked in the South Butler School District as assistant principal of Knoch Middle School and before that she was a guidance counselor at Mars Area High School.
These positions became available due to the resignation of a former principal as well as a position staffed by an interim principal last year.
