The Butler Area School District has taken steps to ban Bryan Flecken from ever stepping foot on any school property or attending any district event.
And, the superintendent said the district will request reimbursement for all costs related to Flecken’s threat.
Superintendent Brian White said school safety has and will continue to be a top priority. The district employs 19 school police officers, all of whom are armed and retired state police officers. Each day, all students in grades 4-12 go through a metal detector and have their bags searched.
