The Butler Area School District is asking for input from its staff members and the community about how next year’s school calendar will be structured.
The district has posted an online survey where people can vote on three versions of the 2019-2020 school calendar.
In one version, students would wait to start school until after Labor Day. Another version allots a longer Christmas vacation for students; while a third has a longer break in the Spring around Easter.
All versions would have students ending school in early June.
The district says none of the models are finalized.
