At this year’s Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, another piece in the puzzle of the history of Jeeps will be revealed.
Organizers say the Faces of Jeep exhibit has become one of the favorite history-related aspects at the festival, featuring Jeep grilles from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. This year, the display will expand as the festival unveils grilles from the 80s.
“Every year a new decade of Jeep grilles is unveiled, and it is exciting to be a part of an exhibit that is unique, and such a popular attraction for all Jeepers,” said Bill Ringeisen, history exhibit manager and the creator of the Faces of Jeep display.
There are seven Jeep grilles from the 1980s that will be unveiled as part of the one-of-a-kind display:
- Grand Wagoneer Final Type Grille
- Cherokee & J-series Trucks Muscle Type Grille
- Wrangler YJ
- 1984-1985 XJ Wagoneer
- 1986-1987 Cherokee Comanche
- 1986-1990 XJ Wagoneer
- 1988-1990 Cherokee Comanche
This year’s Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival will be held June 7-9 in Butler County to celebrate Butler as the birthplace of the Jeep.
