The Butler County Community College Education Foundation has accepted a donation from a local financial institution.
Farmers National Bank of Emlenton has donated $15,000 to support the BC3 Center for Economic Education as well as the BC3 College within the High School Program.
The Center for Economic Education teaches financial literacy to local students in grades 5 through 12, while the College within the High School Program offers 80 classes and college credit to juniors and seniors in the region.
This donation is eligible to be considered under the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.
