Local dairy producers are invited to apply for an industry award to be judged later this spring.
The Dairy of Distinction Award is presented by volunteers with the Pennsylvania Dairy of Distinction Program and the Northeast Dairy Farm Beautification Program.
Roadside judging of factors controlled by the dairy producer like cleanliness and management will take place in May and June. Winners will be awarded a sign to display in front of their farm.
