We have more information about a chain reaction crash last week which delayed traffic and resulted in minor injuries.
The three vehicle accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Route 356 New Castle Road and Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler Township.
According to Butler Township Police, 57-year-old Mishell Potter of Butler failed to stop for traffic and ran into the back of a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Kevin Morrissey of South Carolina. Potter’s vehicle then drifted back into a third vehicle driven by 19-year-old Agigail Granato of New Castle.
Potter was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The other drivers were not injured. All vehicles were able to be driven from the scene with minor to moderate damage.
