Drivers should expect to see an increased police presence on the roadways for Thanksgiving week beginning Monday.
The Butler County DUI Task Force will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and roving DUI patrols through Nov. 30 to reduce the number of impaired driving crashes.
The Thanksgiving holiday represents one of the heaviest travel periods of the year and, according to authorities, typically has the highest number of impaired driving crashes.
