The public is invited to attend a free event to hear from a local author.
The South Butler Community Library is hosting Julie Tulba, who will read from her most recent book at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Tulba is a librarian at BC3 who traveled to Vietnam in 2020. That trip inspired her to write a novel called “Red Clay Ashes” about the Vietnam War that is partially set in Butler. A limited number of books will be available for purchase and signing.
Refreshments will be provided. This event is free to attend but registration is preferred especially for those planning to buy a book.
