Our newsroom has confirmed that this morning’s accident in Slippery Rock Township is a fatal crash.
The accident involved a logging truck and passenger vehicle at the intersection of Route 8 and Branchton Road around 6 a.m.
At least one person died in the accident.
Footage from the scene shows that the car was significantly damaged in the crash. Other details are still sketch at the moment.
Route 8 is closed while police investigate. Detours are setup using Route 108.
