Artists and those interested in art are welcome to participate in several classes being offered around our community.
The Cranberry Artists Network is sponsoring a professional clothed model the first Tuesday of each month through December from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cranberry Municipal Building. The cost is $10 and those participating should bring all supplies needed. Visit cranberryartistsnetwork.com for more information.
At the Butler Art Center on South Main Street, a Photo Inspired Painting Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is a class during which adults of all skill levels will use photos as a guide to create a unique acrylic painting. Cost is $20 and deadline to register is October 15th.
Finally, Afterschool Art Class For Kids will be held Thursdays in October and November from 4 to 5:30 p.m. also at the Art Center in Butler. Kids ages 5 to 12 are welcome to learn about drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more. The cost of a four week session is $60.
