With local residents spending a large amount of time in isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many are taking advantage of Armstrong’s high-speed ZOOM internet with enhanced Wi-Fi.
Armstrong reports that data usage has doubled in the past week but all the traffic is within the network’s ability to handle.
Data allowances for all residential internet service packages have been suspended for at least the next 60 days so that customers will not be charged extra fees in order to video conference, learn remotely, or keep a telehealth appointment with a physician.
Armstrong employees remain committed to assist customers and perform preventative network maintenance while monitoring what major companies like Google and Netflix are doing to manage network demand. Visit Armstrong’s website for more information.
