The State Police are investigating an armed robbery from this past week in Armstrong County.
Authorities say that just after midnight on December 31st, two armed suspects kicked in a front door of a Rayburn Township home where three individuals were staying.
Upon entrance, a suspect struck one of the victims in the head with a semi-automatic gun, knocking him to the ground. That first suspect then stock another victim’s purse before the suspects fled the scene.
Officials describe the suspects as two African-American men in their 20’s or 30’s, one with a medium build and the other with a heavy build.
