Armstrong is celebrating the anniversary of their non-profit initiative to end hunger in the area.
Tuesday will mark the 12th year since the beginning of the Breaking Bread program started.
They’re inviting community members to celebrate Breaking Bread Day by collecting non-perishable food items at their office on Benbrook Road.
Donors will receive special gifts and treats for as a thank you.
The Breaking Bread initiative has been very success; it donated more than 42,000 pounds of food and over $26,000 just last year.
