A 14-year-old boy held 29 students and a teacher at gunpoint in a West Virginia high school classroom Tuesday.
Police say the student took a pistol into a classroom in Philip Barbour High School (which is in the north-central part of the state). A teacher and police chief were credited with calming the boy down and negotiating the release of the hostages after a few hours.
No one was hurt.
