Armco Credit Union is again offering a nationwide financial literacy program to local high school students.
The web-based program is called Banzai and is available for free to over 3,000 students at 14 Butler County schools with topics such as budgeting, using credit wisely, and developing saving habits.
The Banzai program allows students to enter a virtual world of decision making that includes scenarios like paying rent, making lifestyle choices, and dealing with taxes. Students learn more from an Armco Credit Union expert presentation or visit an Armco Credit Union branch.
Teachers may order free workbooks that compliment the online lessons through questions, games, and word problems. Those interested should visit Armco Credit Union’s website to view a demo and register.
