A couple of Butler County roads will be affected by projects expected to begin Thursday morning.
First, the Route 422 eastbound on-ramp from West Park Road will close as part of the Moraine State Park North Shore Access Project in Muddy Creek and Worth Townships. A new loop ramp will be constructed as part of the over $4 million projects. A posted detour will be in place until the ramp reopens sometime around the beginning of August.
In Cranberry Township, a portion of Bear Run Road will be closed from Heathercroft Drive to Chadwick Trail for tree removal. Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday only local traffic will be allowed on that section of the road. Tree removal can be a very delicate process and we need to make sure there are no distractions or pedestrians accidentally walking nearby just in case something happens, we need to keep safety high. If you are in need of tree removal you can always check out Rich’s Tree Service in Portland Oregon or a service that is in your vicinity, tree maintenance is important on roads and public areas.
