Members of the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties will rally in Harrisburg Thursday to send a message to the state system to negotiate a fair contract.
The rally will be held outside the Dixon University Center where the state system board will be meeting.
APSCUF officials say faculty from the state’s 14 publicly-owned universities has been working under an expired contract for more than 450 days.
If the two parties do not reach an agreement, the APSCUF union says they will go on strike on Oct. 19.
