Today is the last planned day of negotiations between faculty and state system representatives for Pennsylvania’s 14 colleges and universities.
And both sides agreed to put a lid on public comments for the rest of the weekend.
The Association of Pennsylvania State Colleges and University Faculties (APSCUF) and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) announced Saturday that neither side would comment on the negotiations until Sunday’s session had finished.
Both sides said that they would be willing to stay at the table to continue past this weekend until a contract is agreed upon.
APSCUF has set Wednesday, October 19th as the strike date.
