April is Financial Education Month in Pennsylvania.
Several events will be held this month with the goal of raising awareness of the importance of financial literacy and ways to improve personal finance capabilities.
The Pennsylvania Housing and Financing Agency is making their ‘Building Your Financial House’ program available for renters, home-buyers, and homeowners. Also, the state Department of Education created a High School Personal Finance Course on iTunesU that was named Best of 2015 by Apple.
Finally, April is also National Credit Union Youth Month and many banks will be participating in Teach your Children to Save Day April 29.
