There is still time for Butler Township residents and business owners to enroll in a series of classes about police work.
The Butler Township Police Department is hosting a ‘Citizens Police Academy’ beginning Jan. 17.
This free program will consist of seven classes on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Topics of discussion will include criminal law and investigations, domestic violence, vehicle laws, use of force and the judicial system.
Applications for the program are available at both the Butler Township Police Department and Butler Township Municipal Building on South Duffy Road.
Only 15 people will be accepted. The deadline to submit an application is this Friday (1/6) at 4 p.m.
