The opioid overdose drug Naloxone has been recalled.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Monday that the drug’s maker initiated the recall because of a potential for “loose particulate matter on the syringe plunger” which could cause irritation or an allergic reaction.
According to the recall announcement, no problems have been reported so far. Anyone who experiences a problem should report it to the FDA.
