The next phase of the Parkway North project will begin tonight.
At 7 p.m., the Perrysville on-ramp leading to the northbound lanes of Interstate 279 will close; two northbound lanes will close leading out of downtown; and the HOV lanes will be closed after the Pittsburgh Penguins game.
That will likely cause backups for people leaving the game and heading north.
The I-279 work is part of a huge Parkway North Rehab Project that was started last year.
