Make it three straight. Three straight comeback victories for the Pittsburgh Pirates over the Milwaukee Brewers following a 3-2 win last night in 10-innings. Max Moroff singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 10th last night to give the Pirates their 10th win in the past 12 games. The Bucs are now one game under .500 and four games behind the first-place Brewers. They tied the game with one run in the ninth, before the walk-off victory.
Josh Harrison and Francisco Cervelli each had three hits last night. David Freese added two more of the Pirates 12 hits. Tony Watson won the game in relief. Pirate starter Gerrit Cole allowed one earned run over seven innings while striking out 10. He did not walk a batter.
The Pirates will have a chance to sweep the Brewers today at 12:35pm. Jameson Taillon will start for the Bucs against Jimmy Nelson of the Brewers.
