The Butler YMCA got an early Christmas present when an anonymous donor pledged $50,000 to help with renovations.
“The donor pledged to match up to $50,000 for donations to the Butler YMCA specifically related to its ground floor renovation project,” according to marketing and communications director Connie Downs.
The gift comes as the facility is putting the finishing touches on its ground floor renovation project which has refurbished the lobby, the Youth Center and spaces for classes and activities.
The YMCA will hold an open house on Friday to showcase the renovations.
