The ninth annual Saeler-Solkovy Memorial Ride presented a local family with a $27,000 check Monday.
Jennifer Reyes and her two daughters have a rare malformation condition that causes numerous serious health problems. Jennifer has also been recently diagnosed with cancer. They will use the money to help with their mounting medical bills and future care.
The Saeler-Solkovy ride has become a lifeline for local families. Each year the event picks one deserving local as a recipient.
This year’s funds were raised through the motorcycle ride earlier this year and from Bike Nights held monthly. Bike Nights will continue at the Huddle Lounge in Butler City on Wed., Aug. 31 and Wed., Sept. 14, with all additional proceeds also going to the Reyes’.
