Some amusement parks in the area are opening their gates a little earlier than usual this year.
Kennywood has announced that they are returning to a decades old tradition and opening on Easter Sunday—which is April 17th.
Meanwhile, Idlewild will be opening two weeks earlier than planned on May 7th. This is expected to be the longest season ever for the 145-year-old park.
Both amusement parks are looking for employees to fill out their seasonal operations.
