A symposium focusing on improved cardiac resuscitation will be held in Cranberry on Friday.
The American Heart Association is hosting the gathering of Emergency Care Providers and Resuscitation professionals from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Cranberry.
The goal of this program is to reach hospitals across the region with the most recent science and research about CPR to help improve survival rates.
Cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in the United States with over 200,000 suffering the event yearly while in the hospital.
