The Allegheny Health Network is expected to officially break ground Wednesday on a new $20 million health care clinic in the city of Butler.
The health care giant says the new clinic will be a state-of-the-art cancer center and will be built off Hansen Avenue in the Pullman Business Park.
Local elected officials and community leaders are expected to attend this morning, as well as Allegheny Health Network administrators and medical staff.
AHN Cancer Institute-Butler is one component of a $225 million commitment by Allegheny Health Network to improve and expand access to leading edge cancer care closer to home, according to officials.
