Highmark’s Allegheny Health Network has announced a $1 billion expansion that bring a new hospital to Wexford.
The expansion will also include four smaller neighborhood hospitals and renovations to existing hospitals.
President and CEO David Holmberg said the move reaffirms the network’s commitment to fill critical gaps that are driving the cost of health care and leading to “maybe not the best outcomes.”
