A local church is warning residents of a scam that is currently circulating.
According to a Facebook post from All Saints Parish, some parishioners have received a text message with Father Kevin Fazio’s name attached.
The message asks for a text back leading to an exchange that requests the parishioners purchase gift cards.
This is a scam. Father Kevin is not asking for gift cards and he has not been texting people requesting a return text.
Residents are advised not to respond to a request like this.
